Malaysia
Thailand
Ms Precious showed a video of the different special places that people can visit in Malaysia whilst Ms Crislet show a video of a traditional Thai dance called 'Kinnari Veena'. After watching the dance video, the children also had a go at dancing. They have been moving their arms up and down, flicking their hands and twirling too! Most children joined in very well.
Today, we also visited the Vietnamese room upstairs to know more about Vietnamese Culture. This year's theme is Hanoi. The children had a go at looking at the different costumes, fruit, money, paintings, flowers and other important facts. Just before we finished, the children had a go at having their photos taken with the traditional costumes.
By the end of the morning, we then decided to have a look at the different country displays that the parents prepared in the foyer. The children looked at various things from different countries and named familiar objects.
To add more fun to our busy day, the afterrnoon children went up to the hall to do some 'Bollywood' dancing. The children had so much fun dancing to the music and was able to copy some of the dance steps.
It has been indeed another learning-filled day in F1X. Tomorrow, we will continue to know more about lots of different countries. How exciting! :)
