Masters of Learning

Congratulations Eine, Gianna and Vivi for becoming Masters of Global Citizen!
Barnaby Bear is equally proud of you! :)

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)

All F1X teachers are very pleased to see that the children have progressed in various ways this term. They are now more confident to explore their environment and are more aware of their interests. Most children have also built positive relationships amongst their friends. They have learnt to share our resources and play alongside each other. The children have been particularly good in making arts and crafts and singing songs. During the first week of December, we started making our Christmas decorations. They have been very much involved in making these-- from snipping to sticking and choosing the colours they like. During the EYFS Christmas performance, I am sure that you will agree with us that the children did a brilliant job on the stage. They joined in very well with the singing and did the actions as well. It has truly been a productive and wonderful term in F1X. Thank you very much parents for your continuing support. I am sure that you are all very proud of our little ones. Enjoy the photos :)

Christmas in f1

It has been a very 'Christmassy' week in F1! From Santa's video messages and lovely decorations in the classroom to children's fantastic role-playing as Father Christmas and Santa's Elves in our very own Santa's workshop!

F1 have also been very busy rehearsing for our Christmas show, singing and dancing to 'Tapping Away' in F1. This morning, we had our very first EYFS rehearsal and the children did amazing! We are confident that this show will be successful and that you will all enjoy our performances. Christmas is indeed getting closer and closer!

This week, we have also watched the milepost 2 production - Aladdin. EYFS were invited to their dress rehearsal together with the children from An Phu. It was incredible how F1 sat patiently for an hour and stayed focused  all throughout the show. Well done F1!

EYFS Christmas Show

F1 Christmas Party

Dear Parents,

It's the festive time of the year so on Wednesday 17th December, F1 will have our class' Christmas party!

For our food sharing, we showed the children a variety of food that they enjoy having on parties. We asked them one by one to choose a food that they would like to share with their friends. The invite that you will receive today states which food your child chose. Please prepare enough food for only 10 children.

Fruits and juice will be provided.

We would appreciate your support on this event.

Please be reminded that the EYFS Christmas show is also on this day at 8.30am in the gym hall.

Thank you very much!

Kind Regards;
Ms Crislet and Ms Precios

Jingle bells! Jingle bells! Jingle all the way!
As Christmas day draws near, we have started doing lots of new and exciting activities in F1X.
When the children came in on Monday morning, we started playing our Christmas performance songs. They have been good at singing 'Tapping Away' and 'It's Christmas Time' not only during circle time but also when they are playing. Also this week, we have been learning some Christmas songs such as 'Jingle Bells' and 'A Chubby Little Snowman'. Most of the children are singing these songs using a range of musical instruments like jingle bells, drums, clickers, triangles and maracas. We've also made our classroom festive and bright by putting up Christmas decorations that the children made this week. They decorated a paper Christmas tree, Christmas socks, snowman and snowflakes! Our role play area has also been turned into a Christmas workshop area. The children are particularly good at wrapping presents and have also been riding Father Christmas' sleigh whilst saying 'Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!'. In our circle sessions, we continue to develop children's vocabulary and confidence through show and tell. We have also been showing the children video clips of Father Christmas reminding them to be good at all times so they can get presents. All the children enjoy watching the videos and are also becoming more familiar with the names of their friends. F1X children worked very hard this week and they all deserve a good rest! Well done everybody :)

Please bring in any set of winter clothes for your child which will be used for our Christmas themed role play area. May we also ask you to label these to avoid losing anything. We will give these back just before our Christmas holidays. Thank you :)
