Welcome back everyone!

Welcome back everyone from our Tet holiday! We hope you all had a great and restful one!

All the teachers in F1X are glad to see the children back with so much energy after the holidays. They continue to play in the different learning areas with their friends whilst some enjoyed exploring new activities independently. The children have also been learning to use the English words they've learned in our circle sessions. Most of them talked about their holidays and the places they visited.

On Thursday, we all had fun observing, exploring and investigating in the classroom for Science Day! The children enjoyed doing a range of Science activities such as Magic Candles (wax, food colour, paper), Fizzy Fun (vinegar and baking soda), Let it Grow (mung beans, cotton and water), Colour Surprise (water, food colour, celery), Scented Playdough (coffee, cinnamon, cocoa), Ice Exploration (ice and random objects), Sparkly Cylinders, Musical Instruments and Dancing Raisins (soda and raisins). In the afternoon, some parents joined their children in exploring these activities. Thank you very much for coming and for your continuing support.

To further develop children's confidence in speaking and sharing, we will be starting a new activity in class beginning next week (Mondays). The children will be divided into small groups and each group will have an adult that will encourage each child to share a story about his/her family, holiday trip, weekend, etc. We would also appreciate if parents could add photos that you would like to share with us to your child's individual blog.

Have a great weekend! :)
Ms Precious and Ms Crislet

Chuc Mung Nam Moi!

All EYFS children delivered a fantastic show to celebrate the Vietnamese lunar new year/TET. They have showcased their talents in singing and dancing and all looked wonderful in their Ao Dais.

The F1 children paraded in front of their mummies and daddies and danced to the song 'Mua Xuan Oi'. We are very pleased and equally proud of how gracefully they've danced and how confident they were performing in front of a big crowd! We hope you enjoyed our Tet dance and are also proud of what the children have achieved at this stage. Congratulations F1!

This half-term has been an amazing journey. Eight new children have joined us and they are beginning to settle in class and enjoy our everyday's activities. All the other children have also been making new friends and have been showing great confidence as they partake in a variety of activities. Well done F1!

Newsletter 6.2.15

What a busy week we had in F1X!

The children have been very active this week as we practised a couple of physical activities for the activity day. For the first time, the children played football, javelin throw, egg and spoon race and running game in the big playground. They patiently waited for their turns and persevered to learn some new and old games.

On Thursday, all EYFS children went to AP1 Campus for our annual EYFS Activity day. It was good to see that the children enjoyed participating in games such as football, throw the bean bag, basketball, ring of fire and a lot more. They all played very well alongside their friends and really enjoyed the company of their parents, siblings and carers. Thank you to all parents for allowing your children to enjoy this event and for your continuing support.

Next week, we will focus on one of the most important events here in Vietnam-- Tet.
We are all looking forward to this exciting celebration!
